Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and will normally be for patients on long term medication. In common with most practices we will usually prescribe 56 days worth of medication (two months). Please note the repeat prescription service runs on a 48 hours system. That is from delivering you request to collecting your prescription to go to the chemist will take up to 48 hours. This 48 hours does not include weekends or holidays.
Repeat prescription requests should preferably be made in writing to the surgery. This is done by using the counterfoil from your prescription if you have one or writing what you need. This can then be posted to us or handed in to the prescriptions mail box outside the surgery.
WE NO LONGER ACCEPT ANY REQUESTS BY TELEPHONE
